Dakota
Corns is a privately run hobby/business located in the great state of North
Dakota.
I breed for personal enjoyment of the hobby and most projects are to create morphs I desire.
I sell to private individuals
locally and over the internet as well as pet stores and
wholesale businesses.
The snakes are currently in brumation for the upcoming 2010 breeding season. Everyone should be coming out towards the end of January. Breeding could begin again as soon as early March depending on the ladies and how they are feeling! The year of 2009 brought some changes to Dakota Corns. We were able to secure a house with a basement and got our own snake room, so we hope to be able to expand in the future. Right now we are just getting used to the new space that we have available and how to make the best use of it. So far things are working out great. It's nice have the "down time" with snakes in brumation and just feeding yearlings/hatchlings as the fall has been full of life's surprises. We are really looking forward to the upcoming season, and hoping that the cornsnake part of the reptile industry picks itself back up, dusts itself off, and hits the ground running come summer!
