The 2005 Breeding Season is over! I have survived!

Here are some stats on this season:

16 females were bred and all laid eggs. 2 proven females had all slugs or non hatching eggs due to first time males. 3 females double clutched (32 eggs) from one breeding session. 326 total eggs layed, 240 were fertile (73.6%). Of the 86 infertile eggs, 31 were from the 32 double clutched eggs. Of 240 fertile eggs, 208 hatched (86.7%). Average breeding to egg laying time was 44.1 days. Average time from prelay shed to actual laying of eggs was 8.7 days. Average egg laying to hatching time (incubated at approx. 80 degrees F.) 67.7 days. Average time from first pip to last hatchling leaving the egg was 3.79 days.  Allowing from some error in my popping skills, there were 82 males and 124 females hatched. Only two snakes had to be put down due to sever kinking at hatch. No other kinks were noticed in other hatchlings.
