Below are my tentative plans for the 2006 Breeding season. Many things can change between now and next Spring, but where are you going if you don’t have a plan?! Last meal was fed on 10/8/2005, and the 2006 breeding season is on it’s way! Heat was turned off on 10/21, and everyone was placed in cooling cupboards located on an outside wall. Temps were maintained from a low of 48°F to a high of 55°F, and everyone seems to have come through just fine.

Everyone in brumation was brought back to room temperature, 64°F, on 12/23, and their heat will be turned on to 80°F on 12/30. Their first meal is scheduled for January 6th. Everyone ate their first meal out of brumation just fine! 1/31 the first female shed, 03-003-CH, she was bred the next day, so breeding season has officially begun! As of 4/14, all ten of my planned pairings have been bred, and three clutches have already been laid. As of 5/21, my first clutch is pipping with charcoals and blizzards, and all the rest have been laid except for one first time female.
