Terms

All snakes are guaranteed to ship and arrive live, and healthy. Animals will be packed and shipped using appropriate materials for live snakes. All information regarding any individual snake will be honest and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
Shipments can be arranged for Monday – Wednesday with next day delivery via FedEx. Shipping is recommended when overnight temperatures are between 40°F – 80°F. Agreeing to ship outside of these temperatures transfers liability to the customer. Shipping generally costs $35-$45 with a hold for pickup at a FedEx Express Shipping facility. Shipping to a home address is outside of my FedEx certification, and generally costs $50-$60, and will transfer liability to the customer. Shipments that are larger than normal may require an increased rate. Quotes on shipping can be provided with a zip code. Customer must be present to receive a delivery on the first attempt. Customer must retrieve a “Hold for Pickup” by 10:30 am local time, for any guarantees to be in place. I do NOT use secondary shipping services. Customer can have final say regarding shipping methods, carriers, and conditions, which will be documented and final liability, will be the responsibility of the customer.
In the event an animal arrives dead, immediate documentation of death via emailed picture* is required. The animal must be returned immediately before compensation is made. Any other health or sexing issues are to be addressed within 72 hours of arrival and must be documented through a qualified veterinary report for immediate action. In the case of sexing error a secondary individual known to both parties can be used to assess the situation locally or the animal can be returned for verification and correction. Compensation for any animal in question will be made following the safe return of the animal. Medical diagnosis expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. Any compensation made will cover the cost of the animal only (excludes shipping and/or PayPal charges) and will be either cash or credit depending on individual circumstances.
If you decide you no longer want an animal for any other reason than stated above, it is your responsibility to find a new owner. Discussing the availability of an animal with me does not guarantee its purchase by you. Down payments (20% of the asking price) will hold an animal for your purchase, but the transaction must be completed in a reasonable time frame (typically 2 weeks). Down payments will not be returned if you choose not to complete any part of an agreed upon deal, including surpassing the time frame agreed upon. In certain situations, down payments will be allowed to be transferred towards a different purchase. In the event I cannot fulfill my part of the down payment transaction, your down payment will be returned in full minus any PayPal charges.
*Emailed pictures must be clear and in focus. They must contain no hands or other objects on the snake and must include a measurable object to verify the size of the animal. Pictures must have 1 full dorsal shot, 1 full ventral shot, and either 1 underwater shot (full body, ventral) or 1 picture of the snake draped over a pencil or similar object.
